IN REGARDS TO THE POTENTIAL TARIFFS

Hey all, Bryce here. This is a quick one.

As with the last time we went through this situation in 2025, I wanted to let our buyers and Kickstarter Backers who are still awaiting their products know that Wraithmarked Creative will not be instituting any additional fees to cover potential tariff costs.

At this time, it's unclear if there will be new global tariffs, much less what they'll be if they come into being. Regardless, in the event that they happen, please rest assured there will be no surprise fees put in place to cover those costs if you have already purchased a book from Wraithmarked Creative or are awaiting a product from one of our campaigns. We'll manage the additional cost one way or the other.

Here's to hoping these tariffs don't come to fruition, period.

All the best, and thank you, everyone, for your patience while we've navigated the complexities of publishing in 2025/26.

A Look at Full-Color Printing! Also, TEMERAIRE is getting a TTRPG from Magpie Games! And... a Wraithmarked Update!
about 1 month ago – Tue, Feb 17, 2026 at 07:55:13 AM

Heya folks!

We've got a couple things to address in this update, so let's get this ball rollin'!

First up, we wanted to share Wraithmarked's first ever full-color book! WOOHOO! We wanted to give y'all a heads up at what to expect with The Scholomance as this book will also be full-color!

A little exterior shot of The Veneziad!
The Veneziad Sea Shanties!

Don't let these bright colors fool you - The Scholomance will absolutely keep to it's darker tones and ominous atmosphere!

The Veneziad Chapter Headers!

As mentioned, this is Wraithmarked's first venture into full-color printing - and we're in loooove! We're so excited to get the proofs for this campaign (still a ways off)!

If you want a closer look at this book in particular, you can check out the campaign HERE!

NAOMI'S "TEMERAIRE" SERIES IS GETTING A TTRPG

Magpie Games (known for the Avatar Legends TTRP, Root, Fallen London, and many more amazing projects) has a Kickstarter dropping soon for a TTRPG set in the world of Naomi's TEMERAIRE series! Check this out!

If you haven't read TEMERAIRE, it's so, so much fun. I ripped through every book across a couple of months a couple years ago, and will be rereading them soon ( 😉 ).

This TTRPG brings to life the theme of the series, which answers "What would the Napolienic Wars be like if there had been dragons?" There's even a quickstart for you to try for free here, if you'd like!

It's brilliant, and looks like so much fun! We know we're getting several copies, so we hope a few of you will back as well!

And now... a Wraithmarked Update!

Hey there folks!

Typically, we like to show you guys behind the scenes goings on when it comes to book production such as quote requests, a look at the interior art and merch goodies offered during the campaign, maybe even an author signing - that kind of stuff! However, when we can, we also like to let you folks know that we are still a small, independent company with a handful of dedicated employees wanting to make waves in the publishing world. We've come a long way from when we ran our very first campaign, which brings us to today...

We are officially moving into our first warehouse! No more garages or storage units! WOOHOO!

This may not be the most exciting news for some, but for us, it was a looong time coming. We are so excited to begin this new journey in a new location, and we've already started moving our things over! We now have a loading dock! (Like I said, very exciting for us)

That being said, during this process, our support and responses will be a little longer than normal as it's all-hands-on-deck for the move. We're anticipating things to return to normal later next week, but keep in mind, we may have a slight backlog to get through. If you have questions at any point in this process, check out the campaign FAQs and if you need additional help, please send an email to [email protected].

See you in the next one!

No news is good news!

Hey there folks!

We wanted to take a moment to let you all know that everything on this project is going smoothly and we're proceeding as normal! Sometimes updates like this one are necessary as book production can be a long endeavor—on occasion, we find ourselves with little to report. Given the tumult regarding our printer getting hacked last year and the delays that followed, no news is good news in this instance.

Catch you in the next update!

A Note on our Support Availability...

There are 1-2 of us who monitor support emails. We'll introduce ourselves in a future update, but for the moment, we want to fill y'all in on our availability.

First, we work 8am-4pm EST, Monday-Friday, excluding all US Holidays. If you contact us via email ([email protected]), you can expect us to reply in 3-5 business days, though typically much sooner than that. <3

A Special THANK YOU!

Hi there folks!

Firstly, apologies for the copy/paste nature to this update as we have lots of campaigns to touch on! We just wanted to update everyone and say...

THANK YOU  FOR COMING BY OUR BOOTH AND SAYING HELLO. <3

Dragonsteel Nexus was a wonderful experience for all of us - this was our first time vending at this convention and we had no idea what to expect. I think I speak for the whole Wraithmarked crew when I say we were all blown away by the support and love y'all shared with us. We had so many of you come by, tell us where you heard of us from, what campaigns you backed, what you were looking forward to, and lots of folks who had no idea we were gonna be there! We saw some new faces (hello if you late pledged to this campaign!) and chatted with any and everyone. The whole trip was a blast!

The Wraithmarked booth! Still setting up, but lookin good!
Bryce signing 'Iron Prince' for a fan and me, dissociating.
Eira signing a copy of her book 'Run Like Hell' for a fan, me chatting (dissociating), and the true hero of the convention: the white sugar-free can in the bottom of the picture. The true savior of Dragonsteel!

Thank you again for making our first Dragonsteel Nexus the best convention we've ever been to!

A Quick Introduction...
4 months ago – Mon, Dec 01, 2025 at 07:11:21 AM

Hi there everyone!

We wanted to take a moment to do a quick intro since the Wraithmarked crew will be at Dragonsteel Nexus this week in Utah! While interacting with us here on Kickstarter or via our support email, the majority of the time, you'll be chatting with two people!

Hi! I'm Eira!

I am in charge of coordinating the campaigns and fulfillment for nearly everything Wraithmarked does. I came to Wraithmarked a little over 3 years ago after spending more than a decade as your friendly neighborhood IT gal. Most days, I can scarcely believe it's real. But here I am, with all you fine people, eagerly waiting to get my hands on this and every book we make. :)

A couple of quick things about me. I've written a cyberpunk novel, published tabletop RPG, and occasionally play the bass guitar for local charity events. When I'm not being a total dork, I collect bumps and bruises skating with a local roller derby team under the name 'Tryst Issues'.

Hey there! I'm Heather!

In addition to helping out my benevolent overlor- Eira, I'm also head of the Wildcrown brand! You'll likely talk to me if you check out these updates, send us a support message here on Kickstarter, or a ticket via email. I also help with coordinating our Kickstarter campaigns and fulfillment, and in between all of that, I also design our enamel pins! Being able to work creatively has been such a blessing - I love what I do. <3

Within Wraithmarked, I'm a bit of a nerd. Outside of Wraithmarked... also a nerd. I work part-time for funsies at my local anime store and have my own illustration business that allows me to travel to different conventions and meet some truly fantastic con-goers and fellow artists alike! I build Zoids model kits, play too many video games, collect trinkets, and dote on my cats, Soren, Taro, and Edgar.

"The Creation of Taro" -  c.2025

Okay, back to Wraithmarked…

We bring all this up to let you all know that when you interact with us, you're talking to real people who have been involved with the creative process from start to finish. It's super important that your experience with us is a good one. While we can't promise completely smooth sailing— manufacturing and distribution are tricky businesses— we will do our best to keep y'all informed as the process progresses.

That's all for today! Just wanted to stop by, give y'all a peek behind the curtain, and say hello! Thanks again for supporting what we do here at Wraithmarked!

Cheers, Eira & Heather
