What a great month it's been! In the final hours, you've helped us raise more than $260,000! We couldn't be more thrilled - thank you all for the support!
A Note About the Cost of the Book Post-Campaign...
As you folks may know, this is Wraithmarked's first campaign diving into full-color printing. What this means is that the cost to produce these books is nearly doubled, but the quality is unmatched. Because of this, we increased the base cost of this book and as with our other campaigns, reduced the cost for Kickstarter backers. Going forward, we will be increasing the cost of these books post-campaign to $140 USD. This means that Kickstarter backers for A DEADLY EDUCATION received an even steeper discount backing while the campaign is live (instead of the $15 discount mentioned in the book tier, it will actually be $30).
MOVING FORWARD...
Here is what you can expect in the coming weeks and months.
First, Kickstarter will begin processing payments for your pledges. That will take approximately 2 weeks. If you did not use Pledge Over Time, this will be the full amount of your pledge. If you opted to use Pledge Over Time, this will be the first 1/3rd of your total pledge.
If you selected Pledge Over Time, your second payment will be on or around September 29th, followed by your third and final payment on or around October 29th.
Once the final payment has been made for Pay Over Time backers, we will send out all surveys to the email addresses you have attached to your Kickstarter account. We expect this to occur by or around October 29th.
Answer your survey questions and grab any extra Add-Ons you want. For those of you asking how to make your tier selections, you'll do that here.
As we get all of the products made, you can expect to see an update from us 1-2 times a month. So stay tuned here for all the latest!
Once we have the products and are ready to start fulfillment, we will post an update and send an email giving everyone 48 hours to update their addresses if needed. Once that window closes, you will not be able to update your address yourself and will need to contact us directly to make those changes.
With addresses locked, we will start packing and shipping. This final step will take some time. We appreciate your patience. <3

Please be aware that the times mentioned above are estimates. We try to stick to them as much as possible, but sometimes it takes an extra day or two to move on to the next phase of the process.

With this final stretch goal unlocked, we will now be including an additional two-page, full-color illustrated spread within the book! With The Scholomance being Wraithmarked's first full-color book, we are so excited to be able to do this for y'all. Hitting these goals has been incredible and we're thrilled to be able to put our all into it!

You guys keep killin' it! As of now, we've officially crossed the third stretch goal! Hooray!! :D
Unlocking this $150k stretch goal means that Tom is going to be c̶h̶a̶i̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶d̶e̶s̶k̶ working super hard to make another gorgeous interior art piece (for a total of at least 12)! Once we get further into production, we may be able to share some sneak peeks!
Next on the docket, our final stretch goal—at $250k— this book will get a two-page, full-color illustrated spread! This is going to be so sick!

Hello everyone!
Launch day hype! You guys have helped us cross our second stretch goal! Wooo! We weren't too surprised... You all show up every single time! <3
Now that we've crossed this threshold, we'll be including one more incredible interior illustration by our own Tom Jilesen!
Yet another full color illustration??? Heck yes!
For our next stretch goal at $150k, we'll be including another fantastic illustration from Tom Jilesen! Adding in more illustrations is really going to make this book pop; Tom will also be needing to ice his drawin' arm, haha!
Quiiiick heads up that you guys are kicking more a** than it looks like! Stretch Goal #1... COMPLETE!

Hey all! Bryce here! I run Wraithmarked, and tend to be the one tossing out the emergency Updates.
Very long story short, while it looks like I should be congratulating you guys on funding, I'm actually here to tell you that you guys just unlocked Stretch Goal #1!!! Heather will follow up with more information very shortly on that, but Kickstarter seems to be struggling with some kind of reporting delay as of the posting of this Update.
While you guys are seeing something like X backers and $Y funded, on the back end we are seeing almost 2*X backers and almost 2*$Y funded! Screenshot below of our Dashboard to demonstrate:
You can also see this by scrolling down yourselves and seeing there are more backers on the tier than there are visually being reported. 🤣
In short: Y'ALL ARE KILLING IT! Congrats on the first Stretch Goal down, and can't wait to see where we end up today!

First Stretch Goal Hit!
Hello everyone! Heather here! Y'all have helped us cross our first stretch goal (even if the public numbers don't say so)! Thank you so, so much!
With the $25k goal unlocked, each of the books will now be printed on thicker higher-quality paper. This will make the books more durable while also giving them a more quality feel!
Next up, unlocking the $75k stretch goal will guarantee yet another gorgeous interior illustration from Wraithmarked's very own Tom Jilesen!
